toxic tort
Personal injury by some toxic substance, for which another individual or company is responsible and can be sued. For instance, a person diagnosed with mesothelioma (cancer caused by asbestos), could sue the company responsible for their prolonged exposure to asbestos. Selected toxic tort links: |
